Who we are

Kathy and Geneviève are PhD scientists who went on to build and lead teams at the intersection of technology, research, product, and talent.

Together, they bring an unusual combination of analytical rigor, operating experience, and a deep network of technical leaders to Fieldwork. Having worked inside growing organizations, built new capabilities from the ground up, and helped leaders navigate consequential decisions about people, priorities, and technology, they know what it takes to turn ambitious ideas into action.

Kathy Copic

Kathy led the expansion of Insight’s Data Science and Engineering Fellowship across North America, building partnerships with 700+ companies that hired more than 3,000 specialized data and engineering professionals. She teaches on AI-related topics at Berkeley Haas, advises founders on fundraising, and invests in early-stage companies.
